The short version
Glassora is designed to respect your personal privacy. We never require account registration, never collect personal information, never scan your photo library, and never track you with third-party advertising SDKs.
1. No personal data collection
Glassora does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details to browse, preview, or download wallpapers.
There is no registration process, no user profiles, and no social login integration. Since we do not collect personal data, there is no user data to access, modify, export, or sell.
2. Cloud & media storage
We host our high-resolution wallpapers securely on Google Firebase Firestore and Cloudflare global edge storage. When you browse or download a wallpaper, the request is processed anonymously — we do not track which device downloads which wallpaper, nor do we build user behavior profiles.
3. Device permissions
Photo Library (Write-Only): To save downloaded wallpapers directly to your Apple Photos library. We only write images — we never read, scan, browse, or access any existing photos or metadata in your library.
Push Notifications: To deliver optional local daily wallpaper reminder notifications. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device using iOS's built-in notification system without transmitting device tokens to any external server.
4. Local data storage
Glassora stores your favorite wallpapers list and app preferences (theme, resolution, and notification settings) locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data is never transmitted to any external server or third party. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
5. Memory & cache
To optimize loading speeds and reduce cellular data usage, wallpaper images are temporarily cached in system memory (RAM) and on-disk URLCache. This cache is managed dynamically by your iOS device and is automatically cleared when system memory is needed or when you delete the app.
6. No advertising & no tracking
Glassora does not display any third-party advertisements and integrates zero ad SDKs (such as AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or Unity Ads). We do not collect or access your Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
7. Children's privacy
Because Glassora collects zero personal information from any user, there is no risk to children's privacy. The app does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13.
8. Security
All network communication between the app and cloud CDN endpoints is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS (TLS 1.3). Wallpaper data stored locally on your device is protected by Apple's hardware encryption and security features.
9. Contact form submissions
If you contact Glassora through our website or in-app feedback, we receive the name, reply email, category, and message you enter solely to respond to your request. Contact messages are delivered directly to our support inbox and are never shared or used for marketing.
